With the recent recognition around the world of the value of, and need for, butlers to provide real Five-Star service, a demand has arisen that has not been met in all cases with training programs sufficient to bring about the actual standards of the real butler. This is weakening the public perception of and interest in butler service in hotels and resorts, threatening to undermine not just the investments made by some hotels, but the viability of providing butler service in the first place.
